FAQ
HOW DO I BOOK A PORTRAIT SESSION FOR MY DOG?
Fill out the quick form on my contact page and I will get back to you within 24 hours so we can start planning your session.
WHEN & WHERE DO YOUR DOG PORTRAIT SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
I offer outdoor and in-studio sessions in Philadelphia, PA and sessions are available on both weekdays and weekends.
MY DOG ISN'T WELL TRAINED, SHY, NERVOUS, ETC. IS IT STILL POSSIBLE TO DO A PHOTO SHOOT?
Absolutely! It usually takes just the right amount of toys, treats, and patience to turn your dog into the next top model.
CAN I ALSO BE IN SOME OF THE PHOTOS WITH MY DOG?
Yes! I love capturing the bond between dogs and their people and encourage you to sit in for some timeless shots of you together.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR IF I WANT TO BE IN PHOTOS WITH MY DOG?
I recommend wearing darker tones and to avoid distracting logos or patterns. Wearing something that contrasts with your dog's coat is recommended (i.e. think twice about wearing that fluffy white sweater if you're sitting in for portraits with your fluffy white poodle). Dark jeans/pants are great and consider your footwear (dark shoes or boots work well, I suggest avoiding running shoes). Feel free to bring several wardrobe or shoe options as well!
ARE DIGITAL FILES INCLUDED?
Each purchased printed image includes the matching digital file that is perfect for sharing across social media with friends and family. Digital files are also available for purchase separately.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE SESSION?
I have a variety of fun toys, noisemakers and treats on me, but feel free to bring along any of your dog's favorites to the session!
HOW DO I VIEW MY IMAGES?
In the days following your session, you'll receive a link to a gallery of around 25-35 unedited watermarked images to view and pick your favorites from.
You'll have four days to make your selections and discuss any product options you are interested in placing.
Once you place your order, I'll begin editing the images and send them off to be professionally printed if you've chosen to have your photos printed. I'll keep you updated via email when your images are finished and your products are ready. Turnaround time for print products is between 2-3 weeks with the option to pick them up in the studio or have them shipped straight to you for added convenience.
How much will portraits of my pup cost?
Depending on the products and packages selected, client investment often ranges between $400 - $1,500
